Mortex is a decorative plaster technique based on the natural materials cement and lime. It is applied in liquid form to MDF. This is done entirely with hand and spatula, so each table top has a different structure. After hardening, the leaf is treated with a varnish. This layer provides extra protection against dirt and grease stains. The result is a durable top with the properties of natural stone. It is waterproof, heat resistant and tear, wear and scratch resistant.

Maintenance-friendly:

In general, teak wood requires little maintenance. However, we recommend the use of a transparent Teakshield 60004 to provide extra protection for the wood and the appearance of your furniture against minor user accidents, stains from food remains and the like. We recommend treating the teak wood at least once a year.

Mortex requires no maintenance, cleaning with water and a natural soft soap, for example green soap, is sufficient.
